Arriving to Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, you have made it to one of the most important cities in Latin America. Here you will not have time to get bored so it is highly recommended to make a plan of how you will spend your time her as the sites of interest are virtually inexhaustible.

Once you get to Buenos Aires  you´ll find elements of literary, design, biographical (Evita, Gardel, Borges), tango (Boedo, La Boca or San Telmo), a surprising architecture, museums, art galleries, theaters, traditional neighborhoods (La Boca, San Telmo), great food and a vibrant nightlife.

The bus to Buenos Aires will leave you in the Bus Terminal of Retiro or in the Bus Terminal of Liniers.

Casa Rosa, Buenos Aires

Center: Is the oldest area of the city and here you will find historical buildings like the Cabildo and the Metropolitan Cathedral. Here also lies the Obelisco, the Plaza de Mayo, the Casa Rosada and the Government Palace of the city.

 

San Telmo: Around the traditional Plaza Dorrego are remodeled mansions of the nineteenth century that today work as restaurants, shops of antiques and cafes. The area focuses on street performers and a large fair of antiques and crafts.

 

Puerto Madero: Is one of the most modern and cosmopolitan neighborhoods of Buenos Aires. Located on the shores of the Rio de la Plata and close to the central area, this is one of the most exclusive areas of the city.

  

Palermo: This neighborhood is known both for its green recreational areas and wide gastronomic offerings, plus great nightlife.

 

La Boca: it is a walk without waste, with the multicolored houses and Caminito Street, which is officially recognized as an open-air museum. You will also find a fair of handicrafts and street shows orientated around Tango. Plus the famous football team has its home ground here.

 

Chinese Quarter: Chinese began to settle in the 80's and now it is currently a storefront of the oriental world.

 

Recoleta: within and around Plaza Francia are restaurants, houses of design, posts of artisans, music and entertainment. Here you will also stumble across the famous Cemetery of Recoleta.

Tigre

Mar del Plata: called the 'ciudad feliz' ("happy city"), it is the main beach resort of Argentina. It has more than 17 km of beaches, theaters, fishing, hiking, nightlife, sports.

 

Pinamar: here lies 30 km of beaches, sand dunes, and pine trees. Nearby are the localities of Valeria del Mar and Cariló.

 

Villa Gesell: is noted for its sand dunes, the Cultural Reserve and Forestry Pinar del Norte, the Lighthouse Querandí and its sparkling nightlife.

 

Tigre: town located on the Paraná River, where it forms a delta of 320 km in length.

 

San Antonio de Areco: ideal population to learn about the life of the argentine pampas and test the traditional 'asados' (barbecue).
