South American Bus Passes & backpacker trips

Booking local transport around South America can be challenging, but we make it easy, safe, cheap & fun with our carefully designed Bus Travel Passes!

South America Bus Passes

These days travel in South America does not require a guide or a tour, you can do it all yourself. With a Green Toad Bus Travel Pass, we take care of your buses and your activities, and you guide yourself around this magnificant continent!

The Green Toad Bus offers you something in between Organized Tours and Independent Travel. We like to think of it as Organized Independent Travel.

The Green Toad Bus offers travel passes for Peru BusesBrazil busesBolivian buses, Chile buses, Ecuador buses and Argentina buses covering a great area of South America. We also offer backpacker tours for those who want cheap South America travel packages, but do not have the luxury of a lengthy stay.

Take advantage of our Travel Planner

Choose a bus pass from our selection and you can pre-design how much time you wish to spend in each destination along your chosen route. Each bus pass has a suggested recommended minimum length of days for comfortable travel, but you can change the number of nights at each destination to suit your needs, letting you take control of your own timing of your trip!

With our travel planner you can see what departure and arrival times we have between each destination and this allows you to pre-plan your trip with the knowledge of where you will be each day, plus when and how you will be travelling between each destination.

Cut costs with Organized Independent Travel

When you sign-up with other companies for guided South American tours you pay large amounts of money for trips which are easy enough to guide yourself. The Green Toad Bus helps you do away with paying a fortune for travel, but also allows you to have the safety of organized transport taking you from one town, city or attraction, to the next.

You will be supplied with all the instructions for getting yourself around on the included trusted transport as well as for participating in our great included activities. But where you stay and what you do for the rest of the time in each place is up to you, allowing you more independence than you would experience with a tour group.
