Iguassu falls were discovered by Alvar Nuñez Cabeza de Vaca in 1542 and today, they are one of the most visited sites in South America (Among the celebrities and world leaders who have visited the falls are Queen Elizabeth II, Princess Diana, Bill Clinton, and Bill Gates).

- Argentinean side
Roaring waters from hundreds of awe-inspiring falls wait you on the Argentinean side. 8000 meters of stairs and trails allow a close up and personal (and sometimes wet) experience of this impressive natural wonder. There are many options for exploration - you can go to the San Martin Island; you can also take a free old-fashioned train to Devil's Throat Falls - if it's a clear day, you will be rewarded with a gorgeous blazing rainbow. Do not miss taking the speedboats under the falls (literally) and expect to get wet. It takes about a whole day to visit the Argentinean side of the falls.

- Brazilian side
Though the Brazilian side of the falls is significantly smaller in scope than the Argentinean side, it is here that you get the stunning panoramic overview of the falls. Once inside the National Park, you may enjoy a variety of optional trips, including flying over the waterfalls in a helicopter, a boat trip on the river with the Macuco safari and speed boat trip, rafting, abseiling, trips inside the jungle, kayaking and sailing. The park also has several restaurants and souvenirs shops. At the falls you will walk along catwalk trails and at the end of the trip you may also see the falls entirely with a panoramic elevator above the Floriano fall.
